Irrelevant, indeed.

I would like to rally my support for conservative Republicans.

There, I’ve said it; Republican. Gasp!

For those who would like to have this party deemed irrelevant, I would ask you to rethink that philosophy. If you take away the two party system, what are you left with? One party, one agenda, one man. Be very careful not to veer from the singular system, or you also, may be considered, irrelevant.

Many from my generation who have been lucky enough to be born and bred in this country of many freedoms, have become complacent. We were confident in our country and we never thought these things would change.

Change was promised and change is here.

For my conservative friends who may have fallen for the idea that they are irrelevant and may be embarrassed to recognize their party, please do not let that happen. We are not irrelevant, we are an opposing view. Opposing views are the very foundation of a free country. And who knows, maybe our opposing views will become the popular view in 2012.

Conservatives and liberals; the freedoms we Americans enjoy have become tenuous. To enjoy these freedoms is a privilege that we can no longer take for granted. Issues crucial to the fortitude and survival of America should be in the forefront of our collective consciousness, whether we are Democrat or Republican and we should do everything possible to insure this perfect freedom for the next generation.

Not one individual in America is irrelevant.
